Support/advice/seminars for relatives
The Fürst-Stirum-Klinik Bruchsal regularly conducts courses / seminars for relatives. This includes, among other things, courses for caring relatives. Information subjects are offered on specific subjects (e.g., patient care). The dates of the offered courses are published in the press.
Respiratory exercises/respiratory therapy
Through breathing gymnastics the respiratory mechanics / respiratory regulation is positively influenced by specific exercises and measures. The respiratory therapy is individually adapted to the requirements of the different disease patterns and the patient's capacity / ability.
Basal stimulation
In the care or nursing experience experiences are offered, which serve as basis for the further development. This means the activation of the perception areas and the stimulation of primary body movements in humans whose self-activity is limited by their illness
Work advice/rehabilitation advice
Rehabilitation counseling by means of social services: detailed advice on medical rehabilitation, counseling on professional rehabilitation, and, where appropriate, referral to specialist services
Special forms of support/care concepts for the dying
Ethics Counseling: Case discussion taking place in interdisciplinary & interdisciplinary composition. In the dialogue with the employees, relatives & patients an ethically well-founded treatment recommendation is worked out. The final therapy decision remains with the doctor and his patient.
Dietary and nutritional advice
Proper nutrition is the basis for human well-being and healthy health. To avoid dietary deficiencies and malnutrition and to achieve healthy eating habits, our nutrition consultants are the first contact.
Discharge management/transitional care
The need for care after a hospital stay continues to increase. In order to take this change into account and to ensure a smooth transition to long-term supply, we align ourselves with a professional team at the national expert standard on dismissal management.
Manual lymphatic drainage
Manual lymph drainage is used in almost all clinical areas. The ML is a special massage technique for the decongestion of primary and secondary lymphedema, among others. For the treatment of open ulcerative ulcers in venous insufficiency or after operations and accidents.
Massage
Massage therapy causes active physical reactions. This therapy employs certain manual manipulation techniques which, depending on the findings, influence the skin, subcutaneous tissue, muscles, tendons and connective tissue, including their nerves, lymphatics and blood vessels, depending on the mechanical stimulus.
Chiropody
Can be arranged as required
Specific proposals for the care of infants and young children
The Fürst-Stirum-Klinik Bruchsal regularly conducts courses such as "The Mother-Child-Café" or the "Grandpa-Opa-Course" in the field of obstetrics. In addition, information will be provided for future parents. The dates of the offered courses are published on our homepage.
Special range of services for diabetics
Diabetes counseling is tailored to your needs and includes information and measures on how to deal with the illness in your daily life - tailored to your individual situation - to enable a life as unrestricted as possible.
Physical therapy/balneotherapy
Measures of physical therapy unfold their effect, especially according to the physico-biological principle, by externally mediated kinetic, mechanical, electrical and thermal; Energy, e.g. Electrotherapy, cryotherapy and thermotherapy.
Physiotherapy/individual and/or group physiotherapy
Physiotherapy is based on the patient's symptoms and the functional and / or activity restrictions. It uses primarily manual skills of the therapist, possibly supplemented by natural physical stimuli and promotes the patient's self-activity.
Prevention services/courses
The breast center offers several courses for breast examina- tion under the MammaCare method
Pain therapy/management
The term pain therapy is used to summarize all therapeutic measures that lead to a reduction in pain. Since the treatment of chronic pain requires an interdisciplinary approach, the concept of pain management is often used.
Special guidance and advisory services for patients and relatives
The care / counseling of relatives is part of the hospital's self-assured service, especially in difficult life situations or for the relatives of unknown illness pictures. Only a well-informed family member can ensure healer success at home for the patient.
Breast-feeding advice
Our nursing advisors advise pregnant women and nursing mothers in all questions concerning breastfeeding and motherhood. They provide you with emotional support and professional assistance.
